This is who we are
Shea Fast Owner
I fell in love with the sleepy mountain town of Whitefish Montana 1994 while on a photo shoot for a snowboard magazine. I packed my Jeep Wrangler and set out to fill my heart in Montana.
After working in Coffee Shops all over the northwest from the time I was 14, I knew I was ready to own my very own. I asked a local property owner if they were willing to rent me a location and he said “Yes”. That is how Cowgirl Coffee was born. I loved to camp and make a “cowboy style” brew over an open fire, so I named my newest venture Cowgirl Coffee. Knowing I would only serve nutritiously healthy drinks, quality and service were also top requirements.
I wanted to fly in some roasted beans from my favorite roaster in California, but I saw the quality depreciate with the travel time, so I reached out to a local roaster where they allowed me to design my own signature blend. I have always big a huge fan of rich, dark blends, and after taste testing over 50 espresso shots, Cowgirl Coffee Blend was branded. An Organic Bean Blend from Day 1! Our community has always supported our little coffee shops, and we have seen many young women grow into their own right in front of our eyes. We keep our menu simple, offer the best local products we can find. Consistency is so important with having multiple locations, and we are always striving to better perform. Looking forward to sharing our hometown brand with you and your family, and invite you to visit the Original Cowgirl Coffee when you visit the Big Sky, Treasure State we get to call home. XX
